Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.52%
Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.52%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE), which rose 9.22% or 1,060.00 points to trade at 12,560.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC) added 4.98% or 1,800.00 points to end at 37,980.00 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) was up 4.25% or 740.00 points to 18,160.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC), which fell 4.47% or 500.00 points to trade at 10,680.00 at the close. Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) declined 3.48% or 300.00 points to end at 8,320.00 and Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) was down 1.69% or 300.00 points to 17,400.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC) rose to 52-week highs; rising 4.98% or 1,800.00 to 37,980.00.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.43% or 3.55 to $244.05 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.76% or 58.00 to hit $7,671.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 4.10 to trade at $2,531.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.03% to 4,147.26, while BRL/COP rose 0.37% to 738.39.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 101.57.
